When you look at them in the grand scheme of things, soy candles are still a relatively new invention. They were originally brought to market as an alternative to beeswax, which has always been on the expensive side. Soy wax is also all-natural; it’s not derived from petroleum, which would raise carbon dioxide levels in the Earth’s atmosphere. And soy candles last much longer than their traditional paraffin wax counterparts.

For those who prefer a flameless alternative, the soy tart is a sensible solution. It can be used in any standard electric tart warmer, and the pleasant odor permeates through the room in record time as the wax melts. Soy wax boasts a lower boiling point, which means that the tart’s essential oils are dispersed throughout the area quickly and efficiently.

When you have guests coming to your home for a holiday gathering, you want it to smell, look, and feel clean.  Though vacuuming and dusting will in general take care of your home looking and feeling fresh, the smell of your home often can’t be addressed by cleaning alone, plus you don’t want your home to smell like cleaning products.  To ensure that your home has a favorable scent, you might consider holiday candles or tarts.  Most people are familiar with candles and the different varieties in which they are available, but tarts are a bit different.  Tarts, often made from soy, are small, candy sized cubes of wax that are melted over a tart warmer, and release a sweet smell as they turn into liquid.

Soy tarts last a great deal longer than the standard candle, and can emanate a heavenly scent for more than 24 hours under some circumstances.  They’re great for their smell, and tart warmers for their visual aesthetic appeal, a sure discussion piece for you and your guests!
