About “Why Soy?”
In addition to the dangers of “soot” from paraffin candles, it is now known that some candles made in China, Mexico, and the U.S. have lead wicks. According to a study in 1999, at a School of Public Health in Michigan, these candles emit from .5 to 327 micrograms of lead PER HOUR!! The Environmental Protection Agency recommends 1.5 micrograms of lead as the maximum per hour before it is deemed poisonous.
“Lead poisoning remains one of the most serious environmental health diseases in this country, and other parts of the world.”It can affect various organs in our body, including the central nervous ,cardiovascular ,and blood systems.
We all need to “Go Green”, to protect our home environment by switching to Soy candles, and candles with cotton and paper wicks.
Drive Away Evil Spirits With Windchimes
Wind chimes are said to take their roots in India where they are primarily used to drive away evil spirits and birds. Later on, it is brought to neighboring Asian country such as China and Japan. Now, it is widely used in Asia where it is believed to bring good luck. Chimes were usually hung on doors or windows where they could produce sweet and soothing sound whenever they’re blown by the wind. Today, however, they are offered in forms that allow them to be placed on top of tables.
A table chime is a perfect ornament to place on your empty tables. They work the same way the hanging chimes do and produce sounds that are as sweet-sounding. Listening to the sound of the chime can be truly relaxing and works best while reading a good book. Their lovely designs also make them good room embellishments.

Wind Chimes
About Wind Chimes; These particular wind chimes have a unique design, giving them the best possible clarity and resonance. Unlike all of the other wind chimes, that were on the market, where the strings were placed through the holes in the top of the tubes, these were designed with a pin inside the tubes at the resonant node, eliminating the interference of the string against the tube, thereby resulting in a “longer and clearer resonance”.
The wind chimes we are talking about have become known as the most “musical’ on the market. They are hand tuned, first by the man who came up with the design, by his own guitar, and still by way of more advanced technology. They all have a distinct melody, which remind you of far away places.
Musical Wind Chimes
Wind chimes are a way to bring unique sounds to your garden, but also offer a keen visual aesthetic appeal. Choosing a wind chime suited to your personal tastes and enjoyment can be quite a journey. You will first want to inspect the wind chime for its visual appeal; do you like it? Unattractive wind chimes, even should they make a pleasant sound, will lose some of their appeal when you turn to gaze at them.
You will also want to think about the sound the wind chime will make, if you’re shopping in a store, be sure to test it out, if you are shopping online, and think about the materials. Denser metals will make lower sounds, while thin metals will make high pitched sounds (the same can be applied to wood). With a garden or porch full of wind chimes each with a unique sound, you will be able to create your own symphony.
